does the line matter on the final score of the game or from that point on from when i bet ?

So if I placed a bet Chiefs +3.5 right before james touchdown 38-24 now... the final score wouldnt matter

If you got KC +3.5 on live betting then KC must lose by 3 or less pts...just like a new spread for the final score.

example: final Ind 38 - KC 34 = loss
final Ind 38 - KC 35 = win

If you get during the game, the line does not change - it is what you pay for it that changes.

It's not like second half betting where you're betting from the 3rd Q kickoff onwards.

So, in your case, the score would be 38-27.5 right now
